The reel motor most decks quietly depend on — and the first thing to whine with age. We developed our own replacement: the same mounting footprint and shaft geometry as the original Sankyo units, rebuilt for silence. The last photo shows one installed and running in a customer deck.

These are genuine Sankyo motors and complete cassette mechanisms pulled from our donor decks and new-old-stock bins: the BHS7B05 reel motor, the BFS7B14 fitted in Denon decks, the motor used in the Kenwood KX-1100HX, and complete Sankyo transports with gears and flywheels intact.
